The motor lifeboat's primary mission is search and rescue. It is constructed to endure impacts of 3 times the force of gravity and can operate in hurricane force winds. Midwest's new Success Series kit was designed with drawings supplied by Textron, Inc., as well as assistance from the US Coast Guard.
