Motor yachts were very popular in the 1920’s and 30’s. Companies on the east coast were building this style for wealthy businessmen to commute from their homes to work in New York.  In fact, this style of classic motor yachts became known generically as, “commuters”.

Several boatyards in Seattle also made these very popular styles of cruisers which were perfect for Northwest waters and weather.
